  • Go back to your current Google Apps window, and click the button "I've completed the above steps"

  • Hit "Dismiss this message"
  • Go back to H-Sphere panel and delete that Custom CName file
  • Back on the Google Apps Dashboard, click the last tab "Service Setting" then "Email"
  • Click the blue text, "Instruction on how to activate email"
  • You've created a User Account already, so Set up Email Delivery System, click "Change MX Records"

  • Delete any MX Records. So if there's a file under "Built in MX Records", press the delete button beside it
  • Copy the first line under MX Server Address & Priority in Point 4 in the Google instructions
  • Go to Add New DMS Record, leave the name blank and paste what you've copied into the last cell "Data"
  • Fill in the appropriate number for "Priority", in this instance, "10"
  • NB: If it doesn't accept the number you enter, make sure there's no "." or full stop included in the info
  • Repeat this function with the next 5 or 6 entries, in the DNS Record
  • When that's done, in google apps, go back to dashboard
  • Go to www.gmail.com
  • Now in a new tab, log into another non-gmail email account a hotmail or yahoo account and send yourself a test email
  • Send the email from the non-gmail account to what you put in as your Username at your Domain to ensure it works
  • Check in your new email address that you received the test email
  • And we're done!
